But, wait, you may ask, isn't this just a bunch of hippie nonsense? Absolutely not! These new societies are emerging and built on cutting-edge technology, like blockchain, and they offer a level of flexibility and customization that was previously unimaginable. But what exactly is wrong with the present system?

Let's take a look at some of the main causes:

- Nowadays you hear it everywhere around you, in business, in the media and online. Building a "sustainable" future. Sounds nice, doesn't it? Until you realize it's just a fancy way of saying "we'll tell you how to live your life, and you'll like it. It's for your own good". It's all about terms that serve the interests of big corporates, dressed up as altruism.

- People nowadays are keen to use technology to transcend their limitations, which is cool in a sense, but the ethical implications are being ignored and overlooked in the chase for profits.

- The marriage between cutting-edge technology and invasive data collection has given much reason for concern. Every move you make nowadays generates data that can be exploited/monetized, used to predict and control our behavior, eroding privacy and individual freedom.

- The profit motive has led to the commercialization of every element of human existence; everything today has it's price tag. We are in debt, agitated, and concerned as we try to meet the ever-increasing demands of contemporary life. Meanwhile, constant pressure to be successful, combined with the detachment of digital living, has had a great impact on mental health. Depression, anxiety, and burnout poses a hazard to public health yet are frequently neglected by a society concerned with productivity.

Okay, so we've established that the current system is broken, right? Let us now move on to the How to do Better-part.

I have already hinted at it. Web3 is the next generation of the internet, built on blockchain technology. It's decentralized, meaning no single entity controls it. I believe that's up to us to decide. We can either continue to support systems that seek to limit our potential and stifle our creativity, or we can boldly step into the unknown and create a brighter future for ourselves and generations to come. We can overcome any obstacle if we are guided by our heart intention and tune into this frequency to make the connection.
