Hey y'all!

I am very excited to start my blogging career here on this crypto platform. I've never done this before. You might be wondering: Who is Crypto_Karen? Well, I'm 32 years old and live in the Gateway to the West. St. Louis MI. I'm a mom of 2, married, and love the new way of living and for me that's the world of blockchain.

It was around 2017 when I got in touch with crypto and started investing in it. A mom of my best friend was doing it. She told me that she really made money but at first I was very hesitant. After 4 months waiting and seeing her make money I joined up and oh boy that was a big mistake and great learning curve. I will tell you all about it  in one of my blogs #Whatnottodo.

How did I end up here writing this blog for the Collective? The short story is that I ran on several cryptocurrency and blockchain conferences throughout the USA into Ethan (from the Collective). Meeting Ethan is always fun. We found out that we both have a passion for Web3 and Decentralized crypto. Ethan told me about launching this platform www.takeitbackcollective.com. And last year he asked me if writing about crypto and my experiences would be something I would like.

As this is my first blog, I will tell you a bit of my background and thoughts. Like most Americans I love my country. God Bless America!! Americans believe that people have the right to Individual Freedom and Self-Reliance.

What I have noticed is that we as Americans lose more and more on individual freedom, equality of opportunity. I'm not the only American who is concerned about this: Most Americans like their privacy and are concerned about their privacy rights and companies misusing their information.

Another American value is Equality of Opportunity and Competition. I believe everybody deserves a chance to succeed. But I see so much dishonesty. For example in the music industry, why are always the same songs on the radio? Also on Spotify there is a limited choice. There are so many artists out there and nobody knows. About this topic I will write a blog soon.
